Concert for a Cause
Free Devotional Music with a Mission: Supporting Nutrition, Education, and Healthcare for All
In a world where millions are still denied access to basic needs, "Concert for a Cause" brings together music, humanity, and purpose in an unforgettable evening of soulful melodies and compassionate action.

This special concert is more than just a celebration of art—it is a movement dedicated to supporting the transformational work of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, whose global mission has touched the lives of millions across 30+ countries through free nutrition, holistic education, and accessible healthcare.
Sumeet Tappoo is a Fiji-born, Mumbai-based international singer and philanthropist known for his soulful voice and humanitarian efforts. Born on August 31, 1978, in Fiji, he began performing at eight and released his first album at 11. He pursued higher education in Australia, earning a Bachelor of Business and an MBA with Distinction from a premier university in Sydney.

Tappoo has performed over 1,100 concerts worldwide and released more than 40 solo and collaborative albums, spanning genres like devotional, pop, and ghazals. He has collaborated with renowned Indian artists, including his guru Anup Jalota. Their joint album "Legacy" has been praised for blending classical and contemporary elements.

In 2023, Tappoo made history as the first Fijian to win a prestigious music award in India, securing three accolades at the CLEF Music Awards: "Artist of the Year" in the Ghazal category, "Ghazal of the Year" for "Ret Ka Ghar," and "Song of the Year" for the devotional track "Shivohum" .

Beyond music, Tappoo is the Director of Sai Prema Foundation Fiji and Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital. Under his leadership, the hospital became the South Pacific's first pediatric cardiac super-specialty facility offering free surgeries and treatments. His philanthropic work has earned him numerous accolades, including the 2020 Fiji Presidential Medal and the 2021 Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award.
